It's windy, so I'm paranoid that the fake trees either side of the garage are going to fall down. 🎄🎄
Every time I hear a strong gust of wind I check the security cameras. 📹
It's going to take forever to vacuum up after these glittery bastards. I shouldn't have assembled them in the house.
I just learned students in Montreal have started a fight club. 🥊
I've made a tactical error. I need to use five pins in this plug. I only have four colours of wire, but that really makes no difference, so I soldered the wires on. It was tricky, intricate work but I did it. I was so pleased with myself when I was done that I immediately assembled the plug, put the cover over it and tried plugging it in to the Roomba. It fits! Except now it's assembled I don't know which of the green wires is which 😔
Our village Christmas lights are designed by the local primary kids and they are the single best thing about the festive season. https://t.co/kDhfLk3Dcb

It's the 267th of March.
I just started the Roomba from my home office (using the WiFi remote control that I built it last week) and I can hear @SnoopysBF in the bedroom muttering about it under his breath 🤣🤣🤣
He hates that thing. It's one of several nemeses of his (another would be ducks 🦆).
You can use the Fibonacci sequence to convert (roughly) from miles to km.
If one number in the sequence is the number of miles, the next number is approximately the number of km.
For instance, 3 miles is about 5 km. 5 miles is about 8 km, and 8 miles is about 15 km.
I've written my own code for hooking the Roomba into our smarthome (over MQTT). It's a work in progress, but IMHO it's already better than the sample code I found online. gitlab.com/jaywll/home-au…
When I was looking for dinnertime music I found a playlist called “No Diggity: Chill '90s Rap and R&B” and from now on I will be listening to it at all times. https://t.co/HKLD398wMY
That's enough dog news for now.
I wish I could get it working properly on dual-SIM phones, like the Google-made one I'm currently using.
This is Benny. He’s just checking in on you. Hopes you’re doing okay, but is here for you if not. 12/10 thank you Benny https://t.co/sU4PaTQSom

There's more software work to do because the sample code I found is super basic, but the proof of concept works! With a parts bill of ~$15 I've hooked this thing up to WiFi and given it an API I can use to integrate it into our smart home hub. #hacking #roomba #esp8266 #arduino https://t.co/lgqAqtbsSt

The mayor of the Japanese town Yamato, Kumamoto is called 穣 梅田, or jō baiden.
I guess I'm just that guy now that's three minutes late for every meeting and then drags them all three minutes over time making myself and everyone else three minutes late for their next meeting.

Previews of upcoming films were originally shown after the main feature, hence the name 'trailers'.
do NOT, and i cannot stress this enough, wake me up before you go-go
Since the clocks changed last night the sun had already risen for today's #Weekend #Morning #ExtraMediumWalk with @snoopysbf. All the snow from last week is but a distant memory and the obligatory landscape pic is another autumnal vista. It's a breezy and warm start to November, and things could definitely be worse. 🐾🐕🍂
Jack-'o-lanterns originated in Ireland, and used to be carved out of turnips. The name is tied to the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a drunkard who bargains with Satan and is doomed to roam the Earth with only a hollowed turnip to light his way.
